Your baby can spend as much time with you during the day as you would like. Please use this time as an opportunity to practice caring for your baby while you have the Nursery and Postpartum nurses available as resources.

Our pediatricians do ask that the babies be present in the Nursery first thing in the morning for examinations. This is an excellent time to take a shower and prepare for your day.

Anytime throughout the day, if you feel you need a break or a nap, please feel free to call the Nursery to pick up your baby.

If you are breastfeeding, your baby will be brought to you to be fed "on demand" or as your baby shows hunger cues. Breastfeeding infants are not given pacifiers or formula supplements without your knowledge or consent.
