Dr. Gerald L. Wallace

It is my right to be uncommon...if I can.

To seek God's will first and then pursue the opportunity at hand, with persistence and perseverance. Nothing's impossible - just get on with the task at hand. Limited only by my own vision. To take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. To prefer the thrill of challenge to the stale calm of utopia. To think and act for myself, then share the benefits of my creation. As a doctor, to recognize the vital importance of the physician's input in designing and creating an ideal hospital environment.

As a hospital founder, to accept challenge, anticipate, then answer the needs. We at Springhill Memorial Hospital will rewrite the traditional and make the most advanced a common occurrence. To build a medical center second to none.

To face the world boldly and say, this I have done.

Then to remember the words of Sir William Osler: "What has been accomplished is only an earnest of what shall be done in the future. Upon our heels a fresh perfection must tread, born of us, fated to excel us...

Since 1975, we've been taking care of the little things that are important in keeping patients and physicians happy. We know that quality care and the continued satisfaction of our patients and physicians are fundamental to our success. That's why we choose to grow better, not just bigger.
