Special Needs Shelter

Mobile County has designated Collins-Rhodes Elementary School, 5110 St. Stephens Road, Eight Mile, AL 36613, as a special needs shelter in times of emergency for special needs evacuees and their caretakers.  Families are urged to create their emergency evacuation plan well in advance, as only a limited number of people can stay at this shelter.  People who may qualify to stay in a special needs shelter include those on ventilators and those requiring use of a lift chair.
