Springhill's Cancer Center is conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital with a dedicated entrance off of Dauphin Street. Located just inside the entrance to the Cancer Center are the offices of Urology & Oncology Specialists, P.C. The board-certified physicians of UOS offer state-of-the-art technology for radiation therapy.

Radiation therapy services include external beam radiation treatment, as well as specialized radiation implants for prostate cancer and computerized treatment planning.

In addition to dedicated cancer treatment specialists, Cancer Care at Springhill Medical Center includes a full range of diagnostic services such as our Women's Diagnostic Center, located on the second floor of Medical Office Building 2. PET Scanner

Also included in diagnostic services is Mobile Molecular Imaging, offering the GE Discovery ST, a redesigned PET/CT system completely optimized for cancer care. This system integrates a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanner with a multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner and is capable of 2D and 3D imaging. Mobile Molecular Imaging is located on the campus of Springhill Medical Center in the Gerald L. SMC's Outpatient Rehabilitation also located in the Annex Building offers a staff of physical, occupational and speech therapists who work with cancer patients. A specially trained team of occupational therapists works with patients experiencing lymphedema to help manage the condition.

In addition, the offices of Southern Cancer Center are located on the 5th floor of the main hospital.  Board certified oncologists are available for diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
