Springhill Medical Center again took top honors as the American Heart Association's top fund-raiser at this year's Heart Walk. The event was held in November, and the hospital was able to raise more than $27,000 for AHA's heart health research and education efforts.
As Mobile's Heart Hospital, it's always been an important goal to support these key organizations that lead the way to new discoveries in treating and curing heart disease. Equally important are the efforts to assist our community with information about taking care of their hearts so they can enjoy a higher quality of life. Springhill Medical has been the top contributor at the event for almost two decades so that the AHA's key work can continue.
