Since 1982, Springhill Medical Center and the SMH Auxiliary have held the annual Color By Kids Art Competition for Mobile county schools. Students from kindergarten through 12th grades submit their artwork.  Local artists judge the entries with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners divided into four groups:

  • K - 2nd Grade
  • 3rd - 5th Grade
  • 6th - 8th Grade
  • 9th - 12th Grade

Color By Kids winners receive a certificate, a gift card, and a donation to their school's art program. First place winners also receive plaques for their schools' trophy displays.

The Color By Kids Art Competition promotes children's art, encourages young artists, and supports Springhill Medical Center's mission to support our community. Winning artwork is exhibited at locations throughout Mobile County.
