During his 20-year tenure at Springhill Medical Center, James Evans, Director of Purchasing, has risen through the ranks to now supervise more than 20 employees and oversee $50 million in inventory. He has been the recipient of the hospital’s Priceless Person recognition and earned the Mobile HeartWalk’s Leadership Appreciation award. James serves on the Coastal Laundry Board, Nurse Practice Council, and Orthopaedic and Cardiology Management committees. He is also an active member of the community, volunteering with Camp Rap-A-Hope and with South Coast Church as the coach of the information resources team.
