Acing its first survey, Inpatient Rehab earned a three-year CARF Accreditation in December for the comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation program and the stroke specialty program. In fact, surveyors noted that this experience resulted in the fewest number of recommendations that they have seen!

Surveyor comments included:
“Physician leadership in the programs is strong with a collaborative relationship evident with the treatment teams to ensure that effective and efficient services are delivered to the patients on an ongoing basis.”

“The organization has been open for four years and has assembled a group of energetic, skilled, and seasoned professionals who work well together to ensure that the goals of the patients are met. The patients and family members speak highly of the program.”

“There is a clear focus at the program level and throughout the hospital on a culture of health and safety.”
Comprehensive self-inspections are completed in the program beyond the frequency identified in the CARF standards.

“No surprise here considering the strong leadership and staff,” said VP/CNE Mr. Paul Read of Inpatient Rehab Director Crystal Hinton and her team. “Congratulations on your hard work! It has been validated.”
